The Canals of Venice
Venice was breathtakingly beautiful. It was like a scene right out of a movie. The cobbled streets lead to canals and the quaintest little narrow passages through the old houses. Locals are singing in the street, gondolas full of tourist glide past as you're walking, the gorgeous men on the water taxi's take you by the hand to help you on and off the taxi.. I'm in love with the day dream I'm having right now.. The Italian women are the epitome of style and the men appreciate a lady who knows how to dress. Some of my favourite memories from the trip were made in Venice and I can so see why it's one of the worlds most romantic cities...
Luzern
So from Milan we got on a train and headed to Luzern, Switzerland. It really is a post-card town. We stayed right on the lake and headed out to feed the swans in the morning and the chocolate was oh-so-amazing! The shopping side isn't too great though, its super expensive and not what you call a high fashion place but nevertheless, it was such an awesome place to explore and get lost in!
On to.. Milan!!
From Croatia, we took a train to Milan or Milano as the Italians call it. The first impression of Milan was WOW, the station is just amazingly beautiful and extremely big. Milan definitely did not disappoint. Its any shopper's paradise, there was everything from Michael Kors to Vuitton to D&G. Milan had the best pizza I've ever had and the most charming Italian men. While we were there we also happened to stumble onto the gay pride festival, which was loads of fun.. Check out the pics..
